plecos appropriate for a 55g

which types of plecos are considered appropriate to live out their entire lives in a 55g tank ?

Rubberlip or any of the different strains of bristlenose are what I'd shoot for.

clown pleco's stay small, about 4in tops. Or bristlenose get around 5-6in

a lfs near me has like 25 different types of plecos. they always have clown plecos. and different varieties of BNs.

can a clown and a Bn live together in a 55?

Pitbull plecos--smaller (2") do good in groups of 3+

Sounds like you should have no problem then!

I would think so since it's a 55 and neither get very big. I have no experience mixing pleco's in tanks. This is the first time I've had more than 1 in a tank and they are both clowns.
