Porcupine puffer parasite ?

New porcupine puffer swimming normally eating regularly...has developed over the four days I've had him....an obvious swollen side and turned grey where the swollen area is, he was originally camo colored....any ideas?

Did he come in contact with air at any time when adding him. I have herd that it could mess them up prety bad

I had one that when I got him he had a bulge on his side and he slowly worked it out. It could also be self mutalation I have herd that thay will sometimes hurt themselves and not know it.

What are you feeding the animal and how much? Is the area red, lesioned, or appearing necrotic? Sounds more like you over fed it and it is trying to digest and/or pass it.
