Port Jackson shark

Just wondering if anyone has ever kept one of these there a common site when I go snorkelling and have caught quiet a few while fishing

Well, considering they get over 5', you'll need a pretty large tank. 5,000 gallons maybe?

Really 5 ft the biggest I've seen in the wild is like 3 iv only caught ones under 2 ft there is a guy on gumtree selling a tasseled wobbygong looks cool but he knows what he is talking about with it he won't sell to anyone with a tank less than 8 ft

But 8' by what? Most tanks are under 30" front to back. That's not much room for a creature that size. 8' x 8' would be ok I guess....

8' x 2'? That's not large enough for that fish. he should call the local public aquarium and see if they will put it in their shark/ray tank.

I don't know if they would take it they might there shark tank holds grey nurse sharks only

He would live fine with nurse sharks as they're both bottom dwellers, depending on how the the nurse sharks are.

Yea he is gonna try call them tomorrow if he does get to take it there I may be swimming with it soon I get to go in the shark tank
