Possible (fungal) Fin Rot??

In case anyone was wondering, I went to the LFS (instead of Dehner) the same day and they suggested an antibiotic (looked for one kind that was like 20 euro and they said, "Nono, get this one" that ended up being way cheaper anyway). The owner and his wife are very nice and I just love that store. I had gotten the fish from another store and the fish I had gotten there are all doing great. Great store.

Anyway, treating with that. He also suggested feeding the frozen foods. The little guy wasn't eating enough with all the other fish in the big tank and is now just ravenous! He's searching for food before we feed and then just chomping it all up. He's energetic and is acting like he's the king of the tank. ^.^

We named him Ramses.
Ramses is on the up and up!

Another progress report

His eye still looks the same, but otherwise he's doing great! He recognizes and bolts over to us when we walk up and is just swimming all over the place.

I'm sad to say he didn't make it. I didn't have him very long, but he was my favorite.
