Lol I took that picture making them think they were going to get fed. It's am in wall build and when someone opens the door to go into the room on the other side they all zoom to the middle and look up lol. They do it everytime my wife goes to do laundry its so funny. My brother in law said oh wow they do have brains lol

Haha that's why I love cichlids so much! They have personalities almost like dogs!

100lbs of Texas Holey Rock.
5x Peices of Cured(NO TANIN) Bogwood.
It has a dual Internal Overflow System.
30 Gallon Sump w/ Quitetone 2200gph Pump and a Quitetone 1200gph Pump.
250 Watt Heater
2x 250 Watt Metal Halides 20,000K each.

Although water change is a bit if a challenge because of the height lol

Lol my stand is almost 4' tall so I had to go buy a 3 step ladder and a broom stick. The stick I cut in half and duck taped my gravel cleaner to it so I could reach. Also I bought a grabber thing to reach the bottom so I wouldn't fall in

Lol yes I'm using a stool now... Getting a longer gravel cleaner so that I can get to the bottom of the tank easier.
Do you ever need to remove the rocks?

When I rearrange and I try to clean under them every so often. Since they dig holes then gunk settles under them.

How often do you do that? Wonder if it would be ok to just vacuum whatever I can get to...
