Here is my small 35g Hex. It used to be for AngelFish and Tetra's but I have recently discovered the beauty in SA/CA Cichlids. The tank only has 1 Convict, 1 Fire-Mouth, and 1 Jack Dempsey... a 55g is on it's way to my house :)

ohhh i like the with background..i need to add one to my 55...but i have like this wall of rock you almost cant see the back anymore lol

Lol u could get a tiny background!! I actually probably need more rock but I only have 5 sm cichlids right now

all of my fish are young and just starting to mature and get colour.
(3-7cm or 1-3" range)

3 yellow lab's (small, medium, med-large)
3 tangerine peacocks (love those big black eyes contrasting the orange body)
2 albino peacock females
2 lab. hongi (male, female) -- the male's really good looking, love his ranga' looks when he gets peeved off or horny :)
4 cyrtocara moorii dolphin's (i want 1m, 2females, but theyre impossible to determine sex?)
4 blue peacocks (blue male, brown female, + 2 young ones)
1 male peacock (skin pink colour with white fins) he's the boss of the tank and one of the 1st fish we got.
1 male "mystery fish", dark/light blue bars.. was sold it as one breed, but matured into something else but he's too cool to send back :)
2 melanochromis interruptus (both young, and orange)
3 electric blue's (1m, 2f)
1 albino zebra
4 silver sharks (2 @ 7cm/3" that court/dance together every feeding time lately, and 2 little ones)

had it about 3-4mth, already planning/hoping/dreaming for a 6 or 8ft tank next yr.
