I've been trying to find a better background. I recently bought a rocky one. I should have known because it was so cheap, the pattern repeats itself after like 20" and it just looks like a picture of fake rocks/plants. The material is thin and week, so the SeaView I used didn't work out like it had on better backgrounds. I've been thinking of just doing the all black background, but the half black half stones like that one would be perfect.

Hardships v1.2. About 300lbs of rock now and still plenty of "wiggle" room for the kids.

Looking very nice! How big is the tank, 125? You have any kind of support under your rocks?

Yep, 125 & I have egg crate under the sand and cardboard packed under the tank.

Thanks for the reply! I have a 75g with roughly 100-150lbs of rock. Do you know how many lbs of rock I can safely add with no extra support (egg crate)?

Not sure Chi Conclude. I would hate to give you advice on that and have something bad possibly happen. Besides, I've only been doing this for about a year, so I'm not really qualified to advise you. But I'm sure others will chime in.

Thanks dj! your tank looks great for only being in the hobby a year. What species of fish are those?

This comment speaks directly to my "noobieness". I'm not really sure but ill be doing homework assigned by squirillah fish. I think one may be a Taiwan reef hap and the other maybe a sulfur head. Don't ask me for the "hard" names. LOL

Haha either way, beautiful fish. Any idea what the fish is in the last picture you posted?
