my soon to be cichlid tank just finished my diy background just need to build a nice hood for it and build a stand/unit hopefully by end of april it will be good for cichilds cant wait to get few in there :

Here is my other two 40b the top one is a African cichlid mixed and the bottom is well it has one firemouth right know but gonna get a few more and black sand will be here in a few days!!

Sick Cichlid Help!!

My Acei Cichlid has white discoloration towards its tail after I noticed the water temp was at 86 Degrees (which I have corrected) but I think while the water was so hot my cichlid has either Columnaris or a bacterial infection? What should I do to heal this fish (and quarantine is not an option). I also have 2 Bala Sharks, 1 Yellow Electric cichlid 2 Livingston cichlids and 2 algae eaters (1 is a Albino Bristloenose Pleco and the other is a reg pleco)! Any info would be great!

Update on my 125 gallon mostly Mixed Mbunas and two Venustis I also have a pleco and an African feather fin catfish that hides most of the time.
