Power head ?

I have my power head on the timer with my lights so it is off at night when the fish sleep. Is that a good idea or should I could keep it on 24/7. Thanks for any input.

What exactly do you mean for a power head?

I have a koralia powerhead that is freestanding. I set it up to circulate the water around more and assist the fluval 405.

In my opinion you are ok shutting off the power head during night, I don't see a problem as long as the filters keeps running.
