Prep & presentation of veggies to tangs & other herbivores

Need some advice. How would you prepare and present vegetables like broccoli, zucchini and spinach? Do these foods need to be blanched or frozen before feeding to help break them down? How do you cut the zucchini to best offer it to the fish? How would you deposit zucchini in the tank (feeder clip?)

I feed my tank all of the above,plus peas and carrots ..always buy fresh and freeze ..I just thaw it ,cut it into small bite sized pieces and give it to them raw..
