Lol, I did type that first part as two three letter parts, but it posted three asterisks instead of the second part... apparently that type of wild donkey is a rude word :-D
 
I have heard from various fish magazines that the correct way is be-tuh, not bayda
 
Oh gosh! Already learned something. Have been saying bay-da instead of bed-a for years (betta). That will be a hard one to correct and everyone will probably think I'm wrong! :)
 
Learned a little while ago it's pronounced SICK-lid, and to think all this time I went into LFS asking to see their CICH-lids... Fml
 
Around me, I've heard them called, what sounds like chick- lits, pronounced like the candy gum when I was small.

Is it Foos-ko- tay -knee- A - tus

or foos-ko-tiny-A-tus

Or something else.

Most people just say Fusco Cichlid anyway.
