Hey all! Got a question, can I keep a puffer In my qt as a perm home since my qt is a 40 gal breeder with a filter, or is this a bad idea? Thanks!

Currently I use the qt for my reef aquarium, and if I get new fish they go in there temporarily aswell as sick fish, so it would be exposed to coppersafe. Thanks!

Currently I don't have any puffers. I'm trying to do some research to see if I can get one or a lion fish and keep in a qt. any suggestions?

Lion wouldn't be a good idea and if you going to qt inverts and corals I would say no to a puffer, if just fish should be ok with a Toby puffer in your qt

Thanks man I appreciate it. Just for future reference You can't really qt inverts as the copper will kill them, now if its just tank water it's ok. Thank you again
