puffer tank filter

whats a better filter for a 10g dwarf puffer tank considering the price of each.. an aquaclear mini or a fluval 2 plus

I'd get the AquaClear Mini, because it doesn't cost as much money. You can price match it at PetsMart as long as you print out the online page. I think it was at PetSolutions.com or ThatPetPlace.com that had the cheapest price, around like $11-13 total. It is 100 GPH and you can fit different sorts of filter media in there too. Probably a little louder than the Fluval 2 though.

If you're going for a HOB, why not get the Penguin 125 or Mini. These go for about $12-16 at bigalsonline.com, and they come with a biowheel for great, oxygenated biofiltration

AC Mini would work nice and give you a lot of flexiblity for different media. The Penguin Mini or 125 would be good too, if you want a Bio Wheel.
