Purple Starfish

Any idea what is coming out of the ends of my starfish? Sometimes this guy looks really good and then other times...well, he lookskinda bad. He never comes off the glass. I don't know how he is eating.

I have tried shooting some micro invert food his way

So I have found out that he is eviscerating. Not the best thing in the world fo rthis guy to be doing I know. Thismorning one of his legs fell off...mebbe he'll now be on the road to recovery?

Well I can hope anyways.
