Question about Kh/Gh in african cichlid tank

25% but with a ph of 6 before it sat that's a big bump so I think it changed the ph to the 7.6 that it normally would test at after it sets

I added Epsom salt and baking soda to the tap water in the can. Brought it to gh15 Kh 12 and ph to 8.6 I then added it to my tank that was ph8.4 with 30 gallons of water and the only change was to my Gh and Kh ph stayed 8.4 now today my ph is 7.6.. That is what I wanted to boost the Kh for was to stabilize my ph and it worked. My water is now hard with a good Kh and my ph matches my tap water. Now I just have to figure my formula for weekly water changes to maintain this.
