Raw shrimp for spiny eels?

Could I feed pieces of raw shrimp from the grocery store to a peacock eel? And would he even eat it? I ask because the only thing I feed mine are earthworms. He'd probably love a change lol

Edit: I should add that I have the only eel in the world who doesn't like frozen bloodworms hahah

I have a tiretrack that will eat only earthworms and nothing else. Imo fresh shrimp would be alright as an occasional treat if your eel will accept it.
