razor blades?

my algae scraper has rusted and broken and i was just wondering if i could simply use some double sided blades (which is what mine is) from like ace hardware and be good with those?

i'm just afraid of leeching something into my tank so i'll ask first lol

Long as it`s not got an oil on it you should be OK.

I get mine from the local paint supply store - buy em in packages of 100.

just got a glass scraper with 5 extra blades and a nice little plastic one as well. we'll see how well they work, can't imagine they're much different

This is for a GLASS tank, right?
You don't want to use metal scrapers on an acryllic tank.
