Not too sure how much people do this, but I made a 'fish elevator' using a Life Water bottle by cutting out the bottom, filling it, and suspending it over the tank. Now my fish enjoy a little lookout above the surface. if anyone else knows of more DIY project using recycled materials, please share!

There’s two thumb tacks in the shelf above it holding it on a string! It was kind of a random idea but the fish like to use it

that's quite a interesting idea who would of thought a water bottle , now that's neat,(y)

I've seen stuff done like that in ponds a lot not much in a tank ,

my only concern would be stagnant water as theirs really no circulation ,
but I'm just a worry wort ,

Thank you! I’ll be sure to take it down if it gets stagnant in there, but so far so good. Plus my betta loves going up there
