red head eartheaters

Hi. I bought a pair of red head earth eaters this week end. They seem shy. One comes out and swims around a bit, but the other hasn't yet. Can anyone tell me about your r.h. earth eaters. I don't know a lot about these. Would love advice on keeping them happy.

It would help if you provided more info. Tank size? Mates? Conditions?

65 gallon, fresh water, 2 under ground filters with power heads, my water is slightly hard. Tank mates are some rainbows, 1 red tail shark, a school of emperor Tetras, 3 red Honduran ciclids, and the bottom fish are 2 upside down catfish and 2big eye synodontis catfish. Does this help?

Oh and I have many hiding spots, flower pots and rock caves, also many plants not real though.
