I recently purchased a Red Sea Star from www.liveaquaria.com and I did the drip aclamation then I set it in my tank it went over to the class crawled up it and now it has been still for about 3 to 4 hours. Nothing is moving on it I dont know if its dead or what because it is still attached to the glass. I have heard they are dinurnal but does that mean once night comes they just "stop" because I set him in with no light on. Please let me know thank you.

IMO very normal. Sometimes mine do not move for a day or so. As long as it is clinging to the glass I would say it is fine.
