Red Sea starfish

So yesterday I got a Red Sea starfish and don't worry he's reef safe but this morning he was tucked under the filter like behind where the filtered water flows back into the tank how do I get him to socialize

You dont. They go where they want to and you take the chance of injuring him if you try to move him. He will move when he is ready.

Ok well hope it's soon though is it because of to much flow?
