Refugium Help?

I have a Refugium that I initially intended to grow Cheato in. However, since starting the 40 breeder I decided I didn't want to go that route. It's a 20 long sump, the Refugium is about 9in* 12in or so. What else could I play in this area that would be beneficial since I already made it?

Why not do live rock and Chaeto?

I don't want to add another light source on the bottom. I could maybe do some rock but I already have about 42lbs in the display.

I'm not sure what I would suggest. The point of having a refugium, at least as I see it, is to have additional biological filtration (rock, sand , macro algae) and for people that want/ need pods, it gives those a place to safely exist.

Guess just someone to store you skimmer and rest of your gear and increase water volume
