Reoccuring diatoms?

Is it normal for me to get diatoms again? I had it before when my tank was new and it went away. Now my sand is turning brown again. Im in my 6 month.

You sure it's not the beginnings of cyano?

Not that i know off. Its more of a brown color sporadically on my sand bed. Its not a slime patch. Or i could be wrong?
