Reticulated Flying Fox - Algae eating?

So I went to my LFS and asked for some SAE which he didn't have in stock at the time. He did however have a Reticulated Flying Fox and said it would eat hair algae. Having never seen them in the hobby before I listened to him and picked the little guy up. Now I am asking here - What types of algae does a reticulated flying fox eat?

I am liking him already, he's super active despite having just been added to the tank.

My common flying foxes eat it all, even BBA. It will be interesting to see what these type will eat.
