Rooting powder?

Does anyone on here use a root growth stimulator to dip their clippings in before? I've used it before on other plants (non-aquatic), it worked great. But, I didn't know if the plant would shed those roots like they shed leaves once submersed.

Any thoughts?

Never had to use a root simulator before and all my plants (clippings too) root just fine. As long as the lighting, co2 (or liquid carbon), ferts, and a decent planted substrate are present....I don't see a need for such a stimulator.

Oh ok, my sword that I got didn't have any roots. Jus wondering I'd I should use it or not

What substrate are you using? The sword would benefit from a root tab, however.

I'm using fluorite with seachem root tabs.
