I dig them up a few on my parents property. They have owned it for over 25 years and I know they have not used and fertilizers or chemicals.

I could try to dig them up on my own property, we don't use fertilizers or chemicals

Well good news my rope fish swam to the top today, he didn't stay up for long and didn't look very happy but it's a start

He was looking at the top in this picture just before he swam up

I know this an older forum but I had a question will rope fish eat live black worms

I'm not sure what black worms are, but if they are a type of earth worm, then probably. Make sure it is small enough for it to swallow, or break it up into chunks because you don't want the ropefish to choke.

They are smaller and not as thick as earth worms but they live in water

When my put them in with my rope fish it was biting near them but I didn't see it actually eat them
