Runners

My jungle Val is sending off runners and new little plants are showing up. Should I cut and replant or leave it?
And if I cut it will another plant grow on the runner or will it just fall off?

I let them mature a bit first, and then I wait for more to appear from that same runner. If this isn't the case, I cut the runner and wait for a new runner to emerge.
