Salt for cory?

It is usually not a good idea. There are lots of folks who will say they will be just fine and that they do it all the time but the fact is that salt and scaleless fish don't get along.

What is wrong with the Cory that makes you want to consider a salt treatment? Usually anything that you might think can be "cured" with a salt treatment can also be handled by increasing your PWCs and gravel vacs to keep the water as clean as possible.
 
I have it in a hospital tank with a tetra I am treating for Popeye. The Cory has trouble swimming. It can't lay on the bottom without constantly trying to readjust or swim back down. Also, gets pushed along by current and floats lifelessly in water column. I don't know what the cause is.
