sand DSB question

I set up a 55 gal last night put 100+ lbs of sand added saltwater now i have 2 different colors of sand the first 2 inches is almost pure white while the bottom 2 1/2 inches is normal tan color should i be worried or is it just the salt settling into the sand is this goign to be a problem My other aquarium did not do this but i have a crushed coral bed.

I think it's just to do with density and the light only penetrating the top layer. It's the same for me and I'm guessing for everyone else too.
