im about 30min away from the beach so i was wondering can i just pickup buckets of sand and add them to my new aquarium?

its a new 75 gal. aquarium i just diy the filter/sump and skimmer and live sand/rock is expensive so can i do this???

If you do, it's best to go out at low tide and go out as far as you possible can. A beach can be pretty polluted.

I would not do it for pollution reasons as stated above. Sand is not that expensive.
