saw bristlenose eating this black/stringy food at pet store

i don't know what it was.
I was in a rush, so I couldn't ask.

anyways, it looks like fish poo, but it was in a bunch and it was black and stringy.

it was at the bottom of the tank - so it must be a sinking food of some kind.

it wasn't round, so it wasn't pellets
it definitely wasn't an algae wafer

anyone know what this food was??

hrrm.
but i'm pretty sure it was dry food.

it didn't look frozen

it might have been freeze dried tubifex worms ??

do these cubes break into little stringy things ??

Yeah...but they wouldn't sink, they usually float on the surface.

could have just been frozen bloodworm they sink after a while
