Is there a relatively reliable way to determine the sex of African Cichlids thi are 2 inches or less?

For most, no. What types do you need to sex? For example kenyis have different color male and females although they both start blue.

I am at the beginning stage of a 55 gallon build. And just thinking forward about stocks. My local pet store has an abundance of pindani and demasoni species. The only thing I'm sure of at the moment is that I want African cichlids from what specific region or what specific species I'm not set on specifics yet.
