I know it says minimum 50 gallons but will a little under be bad? Also will it be ok to put in a tank with peaceful fish?

Yeah which type will really depict what your asking. A rainbow can be pulled off im a 55g. A bala shark needs aroumd 125g and you need atleast 5 of them so your looking at 250+ gallons

30,55 and that has guppies and mollies and the other 55 I don't know all the names but here's some black skirt tetras,mollie, angle, neon tetras loaches. That all I know off hand.

As long as it's closer to 55 than to 40 then you're good.

No rainbow sharks, they are highly aggressive.

The red tailed shark will need the 55 gallon aquarium.

Rainbows are more so territorial so if you have multiple hiding places, you could add a rainbow shark.
