Hello,

My Ancistrus (her name is Lady) got sick. Some kind of wounds / scratches on her belly. Other fish are healthy, Noticed yesterday and it got worse over night.

Tank: 240 liters
Water parameters – all good (made a test)
Lives with compatible and non-aggressive fish. Lives with such fish all her live.
Tank is planted. Fertilized every day for a long time. Also using CO2 (over day, shuts down over night).
Tank is being cleaned every 10 days.
Lady eats special food for Ancistrus and cucumber.
She is 8 years old.

Please, any advices would be very helpful. I love this fish.

That looks like a parasitic or bacterial infection on her. What is your ph at? What fertilizers are you using. This could be from the ferts. It could be a slow poisoning. Built up over time. I would QT her and try some strong antibiotics. Seachem puts out some good meds. Another good one to try would be ich- x and ultimate. The ich-x takes care of more than just ich. I would say use salt but that's not a option. You will burn your pleco.
