I have two small Blue Jack Dempseys. Went out of town for two days this weekend, came back this morning to find one unable to swim well. It is lying on the bottom of the tank for the most part and sometimes moves up to the middle of a large plant and rests on the leaves (uses leaves to support body). Mouth is opening and closing continually. The other one in the tank is fine. Any ideas what might be the issue? I have a hard time believing it's a lack of food, the fish normally eats well and was only without food for a little over 48 hours. Hope there is something that can be done, but it looks grim for the little guy.
Thanks
