Hi guys,
I have a sick guppy and I was hoping you could help.
It's a 10 gallon tank 0 Ammonia (or darn close to it, well under 0.25), 0 Nitrite, 20 Nitrates. I use API liquid test.
Three male guppies in tank, which were added about 10 days ago. No other fish.
Tank has been set up for a little more than a year. I have changed water about 3 times in the last 10 days (on average I would say 30%), including 1 substrate vacuum today. I also did a 60% change just before I got the new fish.
The ill fish was always less active than the other two. Over the last couple of days he has been near the top, and lately he has appeared to be gasping at the very top. Now he is at the bottom of the tank, not moving much. However, physically, he still looks fine.
Meanwhile, the other 2 look great. They are very active, playfully chasing each other through the tank.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
