Hello,

So I have recently purchased 6 zoanthid frags off of eBay (mistake) and one was DOA. Another seems to be dying as well (appears they were crushed in transit). It has like 25-30 polyps but about four of them are white with a film over them and they are becoming transparent. Should I leave the frag in the tank? Will these sick polypls kill the rest of the frag (which is healthy and open)? Should I remove the dying polyps or just let nature run it's course? What do you guys think?

Pluck the white ones. Use coral dip on them. Put them in lower levels in you tank and slowly raise them. Sounds like the zoa's werent packaged right. I would recommend www.liveaquaria.com or www.aquacon.com for buying online. They usually give you a guarantee. I bought a jawfish for about the same price in the store and hes still thrivingin my tank 4 months later
