silver dollar and mollie problems

today i just brought home my third silvrer dollar its about an inch and a half in diameter. Once i acclimated it into the tank i realized most of its rear fin was missing im not even sure when it happened i dont know how i missed it in the lfs. Im just wondering if it will grow back eventually.

with the mollie there are two strings coming out behind its side fin. they look almost like poo but its coming out of its side. i noticed it last week but its seems to have grown a bit does anybody have any idea what it is i havent been able to get a good pic but ill keep trying

What size tank? What are the water parameters? Notice any strange behavior?

With the silver dollar it should grow back as long as you water is good. Melafix also helps with those kind of problems.
With the Molly it sounds like some kind of worm-like parasite. Could you try posting pictures?

Mollies is plural, molly is the singular, there is no mollie.
