He’s doing well so far

He is a nice looking SD, sporting his mating colors. I'm also a SD fan. I currently have a school of Tiger Stripes, and have kept the Spotted (Maculatus) variety.

What can I do to make them as happy as possible

Change out 50% of the water every week. Provide as much swimming area as possible. Feed a good veggie based flake food and mini pellets. i use Omega One Cichlid Flakes and small grain sinking pellets.
