Hi guys. I think I need some help.. two nights ago I took my skimmer off of my tank to go through and clean the entire thing. After I put it all back together and it is not working the same. I know I put it together right back the way if was. It's working fine but puts out the most micro bubble I have ever seen. Is this normal? Is there a break in period after completely cleaning a skimmer?

I would just say it's trying to get right again, give it some time. Mine does the same thing

Hi. What brand skimmer is it ? I have an aquatic life 115 internal skimmer on my 20 gallon tank. When I do a water change or feed my fish frozen food, mine goes nuts for a couple of hours. Tons of micro bubbles but then it settles back down.

I would say it needs to go through the break in period again, if it was cleaned really well. I just clean the collection cup when needed.
