Hi everyone!
I have two what are now very large skunk cleaner shrimp. I have had them both about a year and anyone at the Lfs to see them say the female is the largest they have ever seen (4.5-5").
The female now is caring a boat load of OD green eggs. Has anyone had any luck with hatching or reproducing of cleaners? I have a 10g qt I was thinking of placing it in for now with some chato algae balls to lay the eggs in, if that's right?? Any idea on condition for this situation such as lighting or temperature?
Ideally I would like the shrimp to remain in the DT but am sure that the eggs will be like caviar to everything else in the tank.
Any advise would be excellent!
Thanks,
Dave
