Not new to the aquarium hobby just recently lost my oscar to a malfunction on my heater or probably more to do with him attacking it. So done a 50% water change and added my decor back in to the tank all had been removed and bagged in storage prior to my oscars growth spurt. I did add extra sand to the aquarium which I had a slight cloudiness from but this was over a week ago and the tank has still not cleared up it foes not look to bad in the pic but it is very noticeable to the human eye any advice would be appreciated

Hello All...

Adding substrate to the tank will cause the water to be cloudy for some time, no matter how much you rinse it. Large, frequent water changes are the best means of removing the small particles that make the water hazy. Changing out most of the water weekly will keep the tank clear and the fish healthy. It just takes time, for the water to clear.
