I live in south fl and enjoy the hobby of catching (atempting to catch) my own aquarium fish. So far the only real fish I have caught is a slippery dick fish. I have 3 small ones in my 46 fowlr. They seem to be doing great. Just wondering if anyone has had experience keeping these fish.

I use a tropical fish collection net from deep six with a clear monofilament mesh net and rim. Use a snorkel and speed and eventually you will succeed.

Are you aware they grow to about 12" and are not reef safe in that they will eat crabs and urchins.

Yes, but I am not worried at the moment as I only have a fowlr setup and the two I have are under an inch and a half
