Hey all! Is there anyway to slow down a powerhead? I know there are tricks to rigging a filters outage, but I'm not sure on this. I have a small powerhead for my nano and it's still alittle too much. Only rated for 240. It with my filter on its lowest setting is still alittle much for some of my coral I believe? any ideas? Or would it be better to just run my outage on my filter at its strongest?

Just curious why do you think it's to strong? What corals do you have?

Couldn't you just am the flow upwards, also what type of corals do you have.

Upwards may work. I have a cauliflower coral and some flowery looking things(sorry not 100% remember the real names). And a anemone. I just don't want the higher flow slinging my puffer around too much

Like mr tap water said most corals can handle a good amount of randomized flow. You don't want it pointed directly on anything but that's a pretty weak powerhead.
