Snails!

Petsmart! Now I'm really surprised they took it in. I have tried it at petco and petsmart but they said they already have too many. I see the snails all over the front of the tanks. Lol

I'd just throw them in the yard or find a pond if that's not illegal

That isn't illegal I don't think. I see pond snails everywhere in the stream, rivers, etc.

It didn't look like they had that many even in their snail tank, so that was probably why they didn't mind taking them in.

Yeah. Probably. Or maybe they had an algae outbreak and they need the snail?

Could've been. Either way, definitely happy they took them. I don't know of another place I could have put them, not many ponds here.

I have a lot of streams, ponds, etc around here so even if the lfs don't take the snails I give them, I dump the into the nearby streams.
