Got my hanna tests, new aqualifter, and some more glue in the mail today. Will fiddle with it all before work tomorrow. Since I got all my Xmas shopping done today...I treated myself. Have 3 more pom poms, a blood shrimp, red bone grass, flame angel, and a purple rimmed plate coral coming my way.

So, arrow crab will be going into the 36 with these new additions. I'd been wanting a blood shrimp for awhile but they were never available. Bone grass into my fuge which I will be restarting. And the flame angel will be into the 36 as well. That'll set things up to be done for quite some time.

Does the 36 still have a snowflake eel?

Was only 35 bucks, so I jumped.

AND Hanna told me what about my tank?
Phosphate .07
Calcium 600
Alkalinity 96 ppm...and if 1 ppm = .02 then that should give me my dkh...but my math tells me i have 1.92 dkh which isn't possible so I just fail at math.

Oh wow that's a deal. And yeah, that might be your problem.. 600 ca is pretty high, enough to make corals angry. And idk about the Alk, I'm sure there is an online converter though.

Well, there is my issue. my dkh is low...should be closer to 8. In all honesty, I don't recall if I have any buffer...if not, I guess I'll be trying out the baking soda route.

In better news, after almost a year of waiting the union I was a member of prior to promoting finally got back to me...with a fat check returning union dues after 3 rounds of dues being taken out of my paycheck. That check effectively paid for my 3 hanna testers, recent SWfish.com buy, and the xmas shopping that I completed on Thursday. It's gonna be a good day Tator.

Still is in one piece...just threw his corpse into the woods. He died while I was eating dinner. I shocked him. Opps. Owell, blood shrimp and pom pom crabs!

Night shots! I also upgraded the bulb for my fuge for the incoming macro algae I'm looking forward to. My SPS that looked dead after the power issues have shown polyp extension, mostly the bottle brush. The orange monti is regaining color as well.
