Is that a shrimp I see above your Betta? If it is why do u think he hasn't made a meal out of it yet? What do u feed ur Betta? I want one but I've heard they are hard to get to eat properly.

Mine is eating live ghost shrimp. I get about 24 every week and have them in a 10g tank and throw 3-4 in for him every couple days. Did a lot of ready and looked up a lot on him once I got him. And found a lot of people have them in there reef with cleaner shrimp and they leave them alone most of the time. So got one to test and the cleaner actually hides in the same place as the Betta all the time. He even leaves my peppermint shrimp alone as well. But he is big enough to eat them if he wants. I'm not sure how but I have been lucky with the set ups I have done. My 55 reef in my bedroom has a moray. Half black angel. And white spotted Toby. With two cleaner shrimp. 4 peppeent. Some star fish and sone soft coals and the eel even lets the shrimp clean him after he eats. Well he doesnt let them but puts up with it more like.

Sweet! I love bettas. Personally from my experience, I would get rid of the long spine urchin. They poke the mess out of you and will all your coralline algae. Then when they run out of food, they eat coral. Maybe be ok in your big tank. They are great algae eaters.

Hmm I Hurd they won't mess with coral. Thanks will have to keep an eye on him. If he starts in on my coral he is gone. And yea he already got me once. Didn't see him and put my arm in to spot feed my dunkin and slid down my atm. It sucked. Lol. But it's ok my eel has chewed my finger a few times when I would hand feed him.
