Something on zoa frag

I just got these zoas home and there this weird worm on the frag plug, its not the feather duster but the red thing.

Its not attached to the frag plug, i thought it was though. A quick response would be great, if its good id like to keep it, if its bad i want it gone.

But when it doubt, get it out.
 
If it's not identified, it's probably best to get rid of it just in case. I haven't seen that before. Kind of cool though.
 
Yeah i tossed it. I actually found another one on it.
It almost looked like it had a tiny feather duster on one end. Interesting creatures.
 
Not interesting enough to keep them alive though...lol.
It could have possibly been just that-feather dusters out of their protective tubes.

Oh wow it totally could have been, there are a couple more small tubes on the frag and i have never seen one out of its tube, makes sense...lol.

I've watch one swim around my system before it settled and re-tubed
