Something wrong with shrimp?

IMG_3284.jpg Something is wrong with my ghost shrimp I just got him today. I don’t know if you can see him on the pick but he’s on a fake plant and moving his legs back and forth really fast and his belly is a bit swollen with little black things inside. Thank you for any help.
 
It’s a female carrying eggs on its swimmerets (series of appendages on the underside of the tail).
They may eventually hatch, however, the larva go through a free swimming stage and are subject to predation (and getting sucked into the filter). Plus, they are essentially plankton feeders at that state and will usually starve unless an adequate food source is available.
