S/g @1.028 should I leave it alone until I'm through cycling, this is only day 5.

There isn't anything wrong with 1.028. It is on the high end of what is ok, but there isn't anything wrong with it. Next time you do a water change and you want to lower it, just mix up your water alittle lower. Natural saltwater is 1.028 if I remember correctly.

Natural seawater varies from 1.023 in arctic streams to about 1.026 in gulf and other hot areas
